    When it comes to managing performance and developing staff, conducting an Appraisal (Annual or midterm) is an essential skill for anyone with line management responsibility. This course is suitable for those who have a responsibility for managing the performance, behaviour and development of others at work. The course will focus on the critical approaches, techniques and inter-personal skills required to undertake effective Appraisal discussions, providing the opportunity to learn and practice key performance management models and coaching techniques essential when conducting effective Appraisals. Raising the motivation of employees and improving performance through setting SMART objectives, providing constructive feedback and praise as well as identifying the support required from the manager. This one-day training will consist of exercises, group work, Role Play and question and answer sessions. All programmes, support and learning are available via face to face and remotely including Zoom, Skype, telephone and email (Please note during the Covid-19 lockdown no face to face interactions will be available).

Considered some tips and ideas for dealing with challenging human behaviours and deliver constructive and motivational feedback.
