Irene has a strong background gained over the last 20+ years working within Recruitment, People Management and Learning and Organisational Development. She has gained a vast range of skills in both Headhunting and Leadership & Management (including the design, delivery and evaluation of both CMI and ILM accredited programmes). Irene has worked within the Recruitment market since 1988 and currently works as a Headhunter within her own company. Prior to this, Irene worked for over six years as Head of Learning and Development for Nestor Healthcare Group plc, one of the major Health and Social Care providers in the UK. She has also worked at Hertfordshire County Council where she was instrumental in leading on the redesign of the Performance Appraisal system by embedding a set of Values and Behaviours across the whole organisation. Throughout her career, Irene has worked with a wide variety of clients in many different industries and is passionate about both hiring talent and developing individuals. She has the ability to see different perspectives and aims to inspire delegates whilst giving them the confidence to adapt and change as a result of the training. She strives to assist people to ‘think’ and to challenge them in a fun way whilst leaving a lasting positive impression.
