Emma is a professionally qualified coach with more than 17 years experience working for local government in the East of England. Experienced in organisational policy and strategy, delivering change, continuous improvement, partnership working and the delivery of projects, she now uses this expertise to help local authorities make positive change.
Her work focuses on helping leaders and teams at all levels to define their purpose, values and strategy, work on their strengths and weaknesses and improve their leadership and resilience. With her extensive experience as an environment strategist in local government, she also offers climate change coaching for those specifically wanting to drive forward change on this agenda from the initial engagement stage to those wanting to work out what next.
Emma believes coaching is particularly valuable in terms of supporting peoples’ wellbeing. Drawing on her love for nature, alongside traditional in person and virtual coaching, she provides ‘coaching in nature’ for those who would like to try something a bit different! Being outside in nature is well-known to be beneficial for your physical and mental health helping you to reduce the feelings of stress, improve your mood and physical health. Coaching in nature engenders more relaxed purposeful conversations and gives you the space to reflect and gain clarity.
